MODEL PEMBELAJARAN MULTIKULTURALISME DALAM MENUMBUHKAN SIFAT ‘ADL BAGI SISWA DI MI AL-BAROKAH

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of a multicultural learning model in fostering students' sense of fairness at MI Al Barokah. The study is motivated by the persistence of unequal treatment among students due to differences in ethnicity, religion, gender, and socio-economic background, which highlights the need for learning approaches that intentionally cultivate fairness from an early age, particularly in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through classroom observations, interviews with the principal, teachers, and students, as well as documentation of instructional materials. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, supported by source and technique triangulation. This study is expected to provide both theoretical and practical contributions as a reference for developing inclusive, equitable, and multicultural learning practices that strengthen character education in culturally diverse elementary school settings.
